Supply for the renovation of the content management system, the network infrastructure, the graphics systems and the video servers of Radiotelevision of the Principality of Asturias

Reference Number: 89/18 RTPA

The object of the contract is the provision of and necessary to renew the audiovisual content manager, the network infrastructure, the graphic system, and the video servers used for the production of Radiotelevision programs of the Principality of Asturias SAU (hereinafter RTPA ). It also includes the installation of the equipment, as well as the training, in the lots that are requiredible, on the use of the equipment supplied.

Most of RTPA's technical infrastructure dates from 2006. This includes the audiovisual content manager (MAM, Media Asset Management), in which all the contents are cataloged and archived. audio and video; graphic systems, to insert signs in real time; videoservidores, to make the recording and reproduction of video signals; and the network infrastructure, which allows all the computer systems to be interconnected.

At present, all these systems, given their antiquity, lack the support of their respective manufacturers and present maintenance problems. On the other hand, its functionality has been largely overcome by the new versions of them that exist in the market. Ambos motives make the renovation of all these equipment and systems necessary.
