The object of this contract is the provision of services for the study of the global evolution of merchandise traffic in the Iberian Ports.

The purpose of this contract is to study the evolution and forecasts of trafficmerchandise in the Iberian ports, considering the particular conditions of each port and its role, individual, groups, or facades, in the general dynamics of maritime transport of goods of the European Union, specifically addressing the possible capture of part of These trades with maritime stage for the new High Capacity Crossing of the Pyrenees in a horizon oflong term. The whole sea-land transport system will be taken into account to study how the new railway axis can condition the merchandise routings to and from Spanish ports, which ports will be affected the most, and in what sense. ports or groups of ports in the Iberian Peninsula with adequate facilities to reach aThe minimum threshold of traffic in containerized maritime transport, or that in the future, in the medium and long term, may exceed it, taking into account the continuous and growing process of containerization of general merchandise.
