The expected outcome of the assignment is as follows:.

The overall objective of the assignment is to facilitate the timely and effective coordination in cooperation with FIDIC Engineer of the project by providing assistance to the client..

By engaging a consultant, it is expected that the client will have access to international best practice in the field of project management and able to cover existing resource gap required to ensure timely administrative support of MRTD..

The selected consultant is expected to provide the following services:.

The consultant shall perform the following main tasks, further detail of which is provided in the terms of reference:.

3.1) Assistance with the Establishment of the PIU;.

3.2) Assistance with procurement, tendering and contract implementation;.

3.3) Assistance with compliance and reporting obligations under the financing documents;.

3.4) Environmental and social implementation support..

The work of the consultant refers to the whole project and not only to the portion financed by EBRD and requires extensive coordination with the project implementation funded by ADB operation. The delivery of the above scope is to be designed and delivered to the client in a way that will maximise necessary knowledge transfer and on the job training to the client staff assigned to PIU..

The assignment is expected to start on 31.8.2019 and have an estimated overall duration of 36 months..
