Macedonia — Detailed elevation data with the help of LiDAR

Statens kartverk [the Norwegian Mapping Authority] c/o International Services, invites tenderers to participate in a tender competition about detailed elevation data with the help of LiDAR in northern parts of Macedonia.
Detailed elevation data shall be established with the help of LiDAR in northern parts of Macedonia.
An area around the capital Skopje (530 km) has the highest priority and shall be mapped with a density of 5 points/m.
The other areas that are relevant for mapping (approx. 9 500 m) are divided into blocks with prioritised order, and shall be scanned with a density of 2 points/m.
How large a section of the surrounding areas shall be mapped this time depends on the offered prices from the selected tenderer.
The mapping shall be carried out with the help of LiDAR. In addition to the LiDAR scanning, classification of the point clouds shall also be implemented and a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and surface model (DOM) shall be delivered in GRID format.
