The project concerns the facilities of the Appenzeller Bahnen (AB) and the Federal Railways (SBB) north of the St. Gallen freight station area

Mayn Site: Canton of St. Gallen, City of St. Gallen

The project concerns the facilities of the Appenzeller Bahnen (AB) and the Federal Railways (SBB) on the north side of the St. Gallen freight station area.

Construction includes the following areas of specialization: earthworks, track-level construction, track construction, special civil engineering, canal constructionsations, concrete construction, quay construction, cladding, metal construction.

Main quantities:

- cuttings cups, including ballast: approx. 44, 000 m3,

- piles of large diameter, micropiles and piles: approx. 1800 m,

- delivery of earthmoving materials (gravel, ballast, etc.) in bulk: approx. 26, 000 m3,

- track construction: approx. 1000 m,

- bituminous coating: approx. 750 t,

- foundations: approx. 120 units,

- concrete: approx. 1400 m,

- metal construction: approx. 100 t

A project reference less than 10 years old with similar complexity and tasks for each of the following sectors.

- civil engineering (trace construction for facilities without interruption of operation),

- supporting structurespedestrian inferiors and construction of docks [engineering structures],

- metal construction (buildings / halls).

Several sectors can be justified under the same project. Reference projects must be completed or substantially completed.

Indication of the remedies: in accordance with Art. 30 LMP, this decision may be challenged in writing, within 20 days of its publication, at the Federal Administrative Court, PO Box, 9023 Saint Gallen. The appeal memorial, to be presented in 2 copies, will indicate the conclusions, reasons and means of proof, and will bear the signature of the appellant party or his representative. A copy of this publication and the exhibits invoked as evidence will be attached, where available.

Closing time for submission of tenders / remarks: the postage stamp (affracompany stamp is not equivalent to a postage stamp) or the receipt with a Swiss Post Office`s barcoded receipt, as well as, for foreign bidders, the acknowledgment of receipt of a diplomatic representation or Swiss consular office. In the case of submission of the offer to a diplomatic or consular representative of Switzerland abroad, the tenderer must send bye-mail to SBB AG, at einkauf.bauprojekte.ost@sbb.ch, acknowledging receipt of the corresponding representation, at the latest within the time limit for the submission of tenders.
