The Department of Public Works and Highways South Cotabato 2nd District Engineering Office, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors to submit bids for the following Contract:

Brief Description: Construction of Multipurpose Building

Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC): PhP 1, 980, 000.00

Source of Funds: FY GAA 2018

Contract Duration: 75 calendar days

Cost of Bid Documents PhP 5, 000.00



The BAC is conducting the public bidding for this Contract in accordance with RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).



To be eligible to bid for this Contract, a contractor must meet the following major requirements: (a) Filipino citizen or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for at Size Range Small B, Medium A, Medium B, Large A, Large B Contractors, (b) completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC, Small B contractor without similar experience on the contract to be bid, however, may be allowed to bid if the cost of such contract is not more than the allowable range of contract cost corresponding to their PCAB license and (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC.

The DPWH will use non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post-qualification, and award.

Bidders shall pay the BAC a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of PhP 5, 000.00 upon securing hard copies of the Documents. Bidders that downloaded the Documents from the DPWH/PhilGEPS website shall pay the fee upon submission of their bids.



The Department of Public Works and Highways reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process any time before the Contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidders, in accordance with the provisions of Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR.
