The education board of the city of Akaa has discussed the need for space for early childhood education in Akaa Viiala at the §34 meeting on March 30, 2026. The service network plan for the early childhood education of the city of Akaa has been approved at the city council meeting on March 26, 2025 (§18). To the Viiala area there has not been an opportunity to carry out a targeted, more detailed needs assessment of early childhood education at the same time as the needs assessment and project planning of Toijala's new daycare center. MDI's update of the number of children forecast, and reduced age groups the effect on the use of the school's facilities must be taken into account when promoting the planning of Viiala's early childhood education service network. The Akaan city board has discussed the 14.4.2026 section 80 meeting of the existing bypass element on Viiala's field road in Akaan extension of the lease agreement. The city government has approved the implementation guidelines for the space project at its meeting on January 16, 2024, Section 4. The civic action has brought as a need proposal the continuation of the use of the current space rented from Parmaco for another three years.
