This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is issued by the Technical Standard and Safety Authority (“TSSA”) as an invitation to prospective proponents to provide Contingent Labour for Elevating Device Inspection as set out in Section 2.1 (Description of Goods and/or Services) and further outlined in Appendix B: Scope of Work and Requirements Schedule of this RFP.This procurement is intended to engage contingent labour support services. The overall objective is to have a backup plan for the essential and critical services that are provided as part of the TSSA-s deliverables for the province of Ontario. The intention of this procurement is to qualify one or more provider(s) of contingency labour that would be able to either supplement or replace the TSSA-s workforce in the event of a labour disruption. The resulting agreement would be based on a non-exclusive as and when needed basis. The successful proponent(s) would be called upon in the event that the Technical Standards and Safety Authority requires a contingent labour force at any point throughout the duration of the agreement term.The highest-ranking proponent will be considered the successful proponent where proponents will be required to meet a minimum score of 80% overall in Stage 1: Technical Evaluation the Technical criteria in order to be considered for award.Additional details for each of the specified positions can be found in Appendix B: Requirements and Scope of WorkPlease be advised that elevator contractors currently ...
