Expression of Interest are invited forConsumer Market Research Understanding New Opportunities in Chinese Outbound Markets for Eco and Nature Based Tourism and Chinese Investment in Eco and Nature Based Tourism.
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.

Qualification Criteria
· 1. Provide Information Showing that They are Qualified in the Field of the Assignment. A. Firm has an Established Record of Designing and Conducting Tourism Consumer Market Research in the Chinese Outbound Tourism and Other Markets Such as Ecotourism, Adventure Tourism and/or Nature Based Tourism; B. Firm has Established Experience and Knowledge on Tourism Investment and has Undertaken Research in this Area; *
· 2. Provide Information on the Technical and Managerial Capabilities of the Firm. *
· 3. Provide Information on Their Core Business and Years in Business. C. Firm has an Established Record of Using the Results of Qualitative and Quantitative Data to Create Tourism Marketing Strategies for Destinations and/or Businesses; *
· 4. Provide Information on the Qualifications of Key Staff. *
· 5. D. Project Team Members have Experience in Conducting Tourism Market Research, Preferably in Emerging Markets, including a Tourism Researcher, Data Analyst, Chinese Outbound Tourism Expert, Tourism Investment Excerpt, Etc.; *
· 6. E. Strong Understanding of the Tor and Practical Approach Proposed to Meet Tor Requirements in a Timely and Cost-Effective Manner; And *
· 7. F. Experience Conducting Sex-Disaggregated Data Collection and Analysis is a Plus. *
· 8. It is Strongly Encouraged for Firms to Partner to Bring Together All Requisite Expertise. The Team must Include Tourism Research Experts, Chinese Outbound Tourism Experts, Market Research Experts, Tourism Investment, Qualitative Research Experts, and Quantitative Data Specialists Experts at a Minimum. *
