Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Services: Assessment of the Potential Environmental and Socio-Economic Impacts during and after the Implementation of the Waterfront Project

The consultancy will require the services of a team of experts with the following technical qualifications for its
key personnel:
• A Legal Assessment Specialist with a Master in Law and experience in Environmental Law, with a minimum
of a 5- year experience. He/she should have participated in at least three (3) ESIA-s.
• An Environmental Assessment Specialist with a Master in Environmental Sciences with experience in civil
infrastructure, with a minimum of a 5- year experience. He/she should have at least conducted 3 ESIA-s.
• A Social Assessment Specialist with a Master in Social Sciences (Sociology, Anthropology or other directly
relevant social field) with experience in Social Impact Assessments, with a minimum of a 5- year experience.
He/she should have conducted at least three (3) ESIA-s.
• Languages: English & Dutch.
• It is required to have at least two Dutch-speakers as part of the core team. Stakeholder engagements must
be conducted by Dutch speakers and a Dutch Non-Technical summary is also required in the ESIA report.
Knowledge of the Sranan (Surinamese language) is a plus
• The Firm is expected to complement the work of technical leads through support staff that has at least a B.
Tech or BSc degree with a minimum of three (3) years- experience in the related field of assignment
