Tender Details
The City of Humboldt invites proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare a comprehensive Urban Forestry Strategy and Asset Management Plan. This project, funded through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' Growing Canada's Community Canopies (GCCC) initiative, will establish a long-term framework for managing, protecting, expanding, and investing in the City's urban forest as a critical municipal infrastructure asset. The scope includes baseline inventory and GIS/LiDAR canopy assessment, policy and development standards review, climate adaptation and risk assessment, asset management integration, community and Indigenous engagement, development of levels of service and operational standards, and preparation of a Five-Year Operational Plan and implementation roadmap. The successful proponent will deliver a practical, implementation-ready strategy that supports future canopy expansion, climate resilience, and sustainable urban forest management. Interested proponents are encouraged to review the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) document for the full scope of work, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, project schedule, and terms and conditions.
