Description : Technical assistance for the preparation of the Situation Analysis of the Rights of Children and Adolescents in Panama

General Objective

Prepare the analysis of the situation of the rights of children and adolescents in Panama for the period 2012- 2017.

Specific objectives

To investigate bottlenecks and bottlenecks that prevent or impair the full exercise of the rights of children and adolescents through methodologiesquantitative and qualitative;

Accompany the process with technical inputs for dialogue with the different authorities whose mandate is to provide services and guarantee rights for children and adolescents, social and community actors, children and adolescents, and Unicef Office in Panama.

Required Profile

Legal person with experience in research in economics, social sciences, anthropology, psychologysocial, human rights.

Experience in conducting research on children''s and adolescents'' rights in Panama or in the region will be particularly valued.

The team of researchers must have a minimum of five years of experience in the areas of expertise mentioned and have professional profiles with expertise in statistical management.

Research team must be diverse and multidisciplinary (evidencing thethe proposal).

Work experience in an international organization is considered an advantage.
