The intersection at Fynsvej/Jens Holms Vej and Strandvejen must be rebuilt for capacity and traffic safety reasons. The project also includes the establishment of footbridges for the soft road users parallel to the existing road bridge on Jens Holms Vej at the crossing of the railway. The consultancy service includes project and design management, preparation of project proposals, authority project and tender project, execution project, construction management and supervision during execution as well as handover. In connection with the design, it is prepared one overall tender project. The tender project incorporates a project from another consultant regarding the renovation and strengthening of the road bridge as well as the removal of the bridge deck on Strandvejen. This tender is not divided into subcontracts, as the contracting authority considers that there are significant ones financial benefits of offering the purchase as a total purchase; both in relation to the suppliers' opportunity for economies of scale as well as the supplier's costs associated with the tender and subsequent contract and supplier management, cf. section 49, subsection 2.
