The project will shed light on how the tourism industry can meet and take advantage of ongoing Technology development. It will both provide knowledge and strengthen the industry's competence, so that it can to a greater extent take an active role in the development and use of new technology - both with and without support from the policy instrument. The travel industry is composed, with players who both offer specific products and services, and others who work to strengthen the attractiveness and development of entire destinations. These have different roles and conditions, and therefore also different needs. The transition to new technological solutions can be demanding, especially for players with limited resources. Many will need support for To build competence and adapt to a shift that is largely shaped by global technology companies.
