Tenders are invited for Consultancy for Training Need Assessment for Strengthening the technical Capacity of Relevant Stakeholders for More Variable Renewable Energy Integration.
The consulting firm, in close consultation with the MME, EAC, EDC and CAPRED, will conduct the following:

Task A: Conduct a training need assessment for workstream 1 (conducting a solar farm feasibility study) and workstream 3 (implementing rooftop solar principles)

• Consult with prospective trainees to identify the need for training, current way of working, and existing skillsets in each workstream.

• Identify the desired skillsets to implement the principles for permitting the use of rooftop solar power in each workstream.

• Assess the expectations of the trainees on the levels of details and thoroughness of the training delivery in each workstream.

• Incorporate the understanding about climate risks, climate mitigation and GEDSI into the training.

• Develop a training plan which illustrates modules, objectives and key contents of each module, and number of expected days for training delivery per module.

• Advise the qualifications and numbers of experts to develop the training materials and deliver the training for each module.

• Estimate the number of days for training preparation, which includes designing materials and pre-test/ post-test design.

• Identify potential locations for a field trip in Cambodia.

• Write a completion report.
