WVI World Vision”) invites your organization to submit a proposal against RFP 2830933 - for Consultancy services, savings group linkages study
This study is intended to inform and guide the inclusive finance sector (FSPs, fintechs, regulators, investors, funders) of the status of savings group linkage, and to signal gaps and potential opportunities for this sector. It will also serve savings group facilitators (NGOs, CBOs and others) in better understanding and navigating the financial journeys of savings groups and their members.
Supply-side assessment to include:

• Inventory of FSPs currently serving savings groups/ VSLAs and their members including products and

services offered and their scale/outreach.

• Case studies of specific cases

• Assessment of past experiences and future intentions at individual FSP level.

• Identification of new innovations and trends.

• Current or potential use of digitization (apps, platforms, mobile wallets) for financial service

marketing/delivery.

• Perceived gaps and opportunities: overall, by regions, and/or highlighting specific countries.

• Reasons for those FSPs that have exited the linkages market since 2016.

• Insights into what compels or constrains FSPs from entering this sector.
