Procurement Notice are invited for Consultancy Services for the Design and Supervision of Infrastructure Works for the Proposed Hope Creek ITVET Refurbishment Sub-project, Hope Creek Village, Stann Creek District, Belize
The objective of the consultancy is to provide technical support to the EA during the implementation of the BNTF10 Country Project. Consulting firms will be required to produce designs and estimates (where available); advise on scope and adequacy of sub-project intervention; and provide detailed designs, summary estimates, and priced activity schedules. The work must consider thematic areas such as gender and environmental assessments, and shall seek to integrate disaster mitigation measures into designs. Consulting firms will also be required to provide technical inspection of construction works. The duration of the assignment is expected to be for a period of approximately twenty-four (24) months.
Consultants shall be eligible to participate if:

1. in the case of the body corporate, it is legally incorporated or otherwise organized in an eligible country, has its principal place of business in an eligible country and is more than 50% beneficially owned by a citizen(s) and/or bona fide resident(s) of an eligible country(ies) or by a body(ies) corporate meeting these requirements;

2. in the case of unincorporated firms, the persons are citizens or bona fide residents of an eligible country; and

3. in all cases, the consultant has no arrangement and undertakes not to make any arrangements, whereby any substantial part of the net profits or other tangible benefits of the contract will accrue or be paid to a person not a citizen or bona fide resident of an eligible country.
