Remote consultancy: Senior researcher in disaster displacement
The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) is the world's definitive source of data and analysis on internal displacement. Since our establishment in 1998 as part of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), we have offered a rigorous, independent and trusted service to the international community. Our work informs policy and operational decisions that improve the lives of the millions of people living in internal displacement, or at risk of becoming displaced in the future.
IDMC is now looking for senior research consultant to generate new insights into the duration of displacement and the investments required to advance solutions to displacement, contributing to informed decision-making in humanitarian preparedness and response. This is a consultancy of approximately thirty (30) days over the course of eight (8) months from 1 April to 15 October 2024.
Consultants who meet the requirements outlined in the Terms of Reference are invited to submit an expression of interest by Sunday 17 March 2024, 23:59 CET to Sylvain Ponserre (sylvain.ponserre@idmc.ch).
