Construction work securing the Spreitgraben avalanche gallery The project provides for a comprehensive structural upgrade of the existing building: * Creation of a new pile foundation to safely transfer the future higher loads from the debris flow deposits To be able to remove subsurface. * Installation of a new floor slab, which stiffens the structure and secures it against earth pressure. * Placing new in-situ concrete walls in front of the existing gallery exterior walls to absorb the horizontal and vertical forces. * Create a new, reinforced gallery ceiling. * Reorganization of the service lines in the street and improvement of drainage. * Securing the bottom of the stream channel using a block carpet and micro-pile bars to protect the gallery ceiling Block hits.
