Fingrid Oyj has decided to implement the new Ulvo substation as part of the main grid. With this acquisition, the the contractor of the site's construction works. The site is located in the area of Soini municipality. The estimated contract period is April 2026 - January 2027. In the contract the preliminary entities to be implemented are;- earthworks including surface soil removal- removal of stumps and twigs (trees removed)- construction of access and service roads- construction of substation fence and gate (Fingrid's type fence and gate and openable parts of the fence)- Construction of Fingrid's type control room for LVIAS works (element building)- borehole and sludge tank- lightning protection of the control room building- electric car charging points and car heating poles- area lighting- grounding works in the substation area Contract to be procured the details will be defined in more detail during the negotiation procedure. Only bidders who are able to complete the contracted work in its entirety will be selected for the negotiation procedure. The preliminary schedule is as follows. The schedule does not bind the Subscriber and the times are only estimates: Decision on the selection of participants in the first half of February -26 The final request for tenders will be published in the second half of February 2025 Final offers in the second half of March 2026 Procurement decision in the middle of April 2026
