1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) on behalf of UN-Habitat intends to solicit proposals for the Construction of water and stormwater networks in three neighbourhoods of Al-Ahrar, Jurf Milih and Al-kubiya in Basra City 2.0 The solicitation will be based on detailed Statement of Works (SoW), Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Technical Specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender.3.0 The project consists of:(i) Civil Works: include site preparation, concrete structural works, construction of fountain, guard room, toilets, fence. Cement and gypsum plastering, installation of doors and windows, painting (emulsion and oil-based), roof waterproofing. (ii) Landscaping: Levelling, walkways, paving, children playground, irrigation works, planters, tree and grass planting.
