Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction of Sewer Networks, Pumping Stations and Force Mains for Selected Karak Areas Package 1.
Lot (1): Project Implementation Sewer System for Part of Manshiyyet Abu Hammour

Lot (2): Project Implementation Sewer System for Part of Manshiyyet Abu Hammour, Thaniyyeh, and Marj (Optional)
The Project is divided into two packages, involve laying public sewer infrastructure to serve the catchment areas comprising Manshiyyet Abu Hammour, Thaniyyeh, and Marj as an optional, which will subject to WAJ further instructions for implementation
Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in clause ITB 22.1 of the bidding documents on or before 12:00pm local time, 7th October 2024. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders- designated representatives.
Proposed Works for Lot 1 shall include, but not limited to, the followings:

• Supply, installation and testing of new gravity sewer corrugated HDPE pipelines of 200mm,

300mm, and 400mm, including related cast-in-situ/precast reinforced concrete manholes. The

total lengths of the sewer pipelines are about 24 km and the total lengths of carbon steel

pipeline of 200mm is about 200m.

• Supply, installation and testing of about 2.5 km of house connections of corrugated HDPE pipes

of 160mm.

• Construction, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of two pump stations PS3, and

PS4.

• Supply, installation and testing of about 820 m pipelines of 200mm, 300mm, and 400mm, using

trenchless construction method for installation of pipelines under major/main highways and

for deep Pipelines.

• Supply, installation and testing of new Ductile Iron (DI) force main pipelines of 250mm, and

300mm, including all fittings & accessories. The total length of the force main pipelines is about

6.2 km.

• Supply, installation and testing of about 270m of corrugated HDPE pipes of 200 mm and 400

mm in wadis with RCP cast in situ manholes including all works as per typical details.

The flow from pumping station PS4 will be pumped through force main and discharged to the gravity network of Lot 2 within Package 1.
