GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:
The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 151.67 million, will require the procurement of the following works and services:
-Procurement of works for permanent way, including railway infrastructure, railway superstructure and substructure, according to the Design, which is prepared by the Employer. Tendering procedure for this contract is ongoing, the prequalification is completed.
-Detail design and installation of signalling and telecommunication on Rail Corridor VIII, Second Section, Beljakovce - Kriva Palanka, from km 30+957.00 to km 64+942.01. Tendering is expected to begin in the Q2 of 2021.
-Consultancy Services for the Supervision of Works. Tendering is expected to begin in the Q1 of 2020.
-Consultancy Services for the Project Implementation. Tendering is expected to begin in the Q1 of 2020.

This is an update of the GPN for the above process. Prequalification notice for the main works was published on 27 Jul 2018 on EBRD web-site and currently on-going, so only prequalified contractors will be able to submit tenders.
