1. The subject of the project is the construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path along the district road No. 1723C Waycz Wayczyk in the town of Waycz from the intersection with the provincial road No. 534 towards the town of Wayczyk. The need to implement the project results from the lack separate infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists on the section covered by the investment. Currently, pedestrian and bicycle traffic takes place on the road or roadside, which poses a threat to the safety of vulnerable road users, especially in the area the intersection of provincial road No. 534 with county roads No. 1723C. High traffic intensity, including heavy goods vehicles, additionally increases the risk of road accidents.2.
