Construction of Yatta municipality slaughter house (Lot 1) which will meet animal welfare and health and safety considerations. The slaughterhouse is planned for the slaughter of up to 200 small ruminants, 25 cattle, and 1 camel per day during 316 workdays per year. Works will include the construction of the slaughter facility, equipping of the slaughter house, and construction of a water treatment facility. As Samua Breeding Centre (Lot 2) is being developed to serve as a “one-stop” centre for all matters regarding animal breeding and genetic improvement. The works include construction of a laboratory block and yard improvements. Both will support the development of the livestock sector in West Bank, Palestine.
