The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is looking to establish a qualified shortlist of up to five (5) Respondents of general and landscape contractors which may be invited to submit a proposal to a subsequent Competition Notice(s), if any, for the provision of construction works and related services of a Memorial Garden as identified in section 2. Respondents will need to be able to commit to starting work in April/May 2026 and be able to deliver a partially completed Garden for a related ceremony planned in September 2026; the Garden does not need to be fully complete by this date. As the design is still in progress, the required state of completion by September 2026 will be shared with the Qualified Suppliers and included in the Competition Notice. See section 4. Timeline for further details. Respondents should have experience working on memorials, monuments or commemorations with Indigenous or racialized communities in Canada and should have experience working with Indigenous communities and collaborators in Canada.
