CreateTO has issued this Request for Proposals at the request of the City of Toronto, the Housing Development Office, and Housing Secretariat to solicit and receive formal offers for the provision of Construction Management Services and Work for the development of Phase 1 of the property municipally known as 805 Wellington Street West. The Project aims to deliver a mid-rise supportive housing building operated by Homes First Society, advancing the shared objective of leveraging public lands and modern construction methods to provide innovative, sustainable, and deeply affordable housing for those in need. CreateTO and the HDO are advancing the Project on an expedited basis to meet the funding requirements of Build Canada Homes. The Successful Proponent will be expected to work collaboratively and in close coordination with CreateTO, the Prime Consultant, project consultants, City staff, and other key stakeholders throughout all phases of planning, design, approvals, and construction to ensure the successful delivery of the Project.
