Tender Details

The object of the contract is the construction of Kiviruukinaukio. The square will be built with e.g. access connections with bottom reinforcements, plantings and lighting according to the plans. In addition, the contract will build water supply systems according to the plans. Kiviruukinaukio is located In the Kiviruukki industrial area on the border of the Saunalahti (42) and Espoonlahti (34) districts, in the small areas of Kattilalaakso and Kivenlahti. On the west side of Kiviruukinaukio, a school and office building is being built on the site of the Cleantech Garden. Kivirukki high school will begin operations on the site in the fall of 2027. At the same time as the contract, the city of Espoo will carry out the Tschetschulininporti (Länsiväylä underpass at the southern end of Kiviruukinaukio), Höyrylaivantie and Meriusvanaukio area construction work in a separate contract, the goal is to open the Tschetschulininportti to pedestrian and bicycle traffic during 2026.
