Description : 1.The Barangay Pongpong, Santo Tomas, La Union, through the budget for the contract approved by the Sanggunian under General Fund intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos (Php 140, 000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Construction of Footbridge. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The Barangay Pongpong, Santo Tomas, La Union now invites bids for the Riprapping of Side Slope Protection at Pongpong, Santo Tomas, La Union.
Completion of the Works is required within 30 calendar days. Bidder's should have completed, within ten(10) years from the date of submission and receipts of bids, a contract similar to the Projects. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding documents, particularly, in Section II. Instruction to Bidders.
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise know as the "Government Procurement Reform Act."
