Construction of Five Storey Ramp Roofing
TERMS OF REFERENCE AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
A. General Requirements
1. MOBILIZATION: The contractor upon receipt of the notice to proceed shall immediately mobilize equipment, materials and employees to the site and demobilize or remove the same at the completion of said project.
2. SAFETY & HEALTH STANDARD AND HOUSEKEEPING: Submit Occupational Safety & Health Program and provide Safety Personnel, Personal Protective Devices (PPEs) and Safety Signage-s based from contract and IRR RA 11058.
B. Civil Works
1. Preparatory Works
- DEMOLITION: All superficial obstructions shall be demolished and removed from the site to disposal areas approved by CVMC Engineers
- CLEARING AND GRUBBING of unnecessary plants and other debris in the area and removed from the site to disposal areas approved by CVMC Engineers. All serviceable equipment and other parts of the building as classified by CVMC engineers shall be turned over to CVMC through MMS.
2. Concrete Works
- Construction of 30x30cmx50cmH concrete pedestal, reinforced with 16mm Diameter bar.
3. Steel Works
- Supply & Fabrication of steel post GI sch, 40, steel truss 2x2, 2x3x1.4mm C-Purlins in prepainted finished.
- Supply & installation of 0.5mm thk. Prepainted roofing.
F. CONTRACTOR-S RESPONSIBILITY
A. The Contractor shall provide technical personnel who are skilled and experienced to carry out its obligations under this Contract;
B. The contractor shall also submit pictures of work accomplished (size 3R min., before, during and after) in a photo album for their final billing.
G. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A. ELIGIBILITY: The PCAB license of the General Contractor is at least Small -œA- License Category -œ Trade E-
B. CONTRACT DURATION: The duration to complete the project shall be within a maximum period 45 Calendar Days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
C. The prospective contractor shall carefully review all Plans and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) within prescribes time. Variance from BOQ to plans, the PLANS must prevail, provided that the deliverable is beneficial to the government.
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
Where the contractor refuses or fails to satisfactorily complete the work within the specified contract time, plus any time extension duly granted and is hereby in default under the contract, the contractor shall pay the procuring entity for liquidated damages, and not by way of penalty, an amount, as provided in the conditions of contract, equal to at least one tenth (1/10) of one (1) percent of the cost of the unperformed portion of the works for every day of delay.
