The City Government of Tacloban thru the 20% Barangay Development Fund (BDF), intends to apply the sum of Four Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-Three Pesos & 50/100 (Php487, 823.50) only, being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Construction of Drainage System at Brgy. 71, Kristina Heights, Naga-naga, Tacloban City. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.



The City Government of Tacloban now invites bid for the following works to be procured

I. Removal of Existing Structure 35.00 sq.m

II. Excavation Works 19.25 cu.m

III. Line Canal 70.00 lin.m

IV. Fabrication & Installation of Steel Cover 70.00 lin.m

V. Waste Disposal 19.25 cu.m



Completion of the works required is thirty (30) calendar days. Bidders should have completed within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly in Section II. Instruction to Bidders.



Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.



Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Barangay Council of Naga-naga thru the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat, Barangay Hall, Naga-naga, Tacloban City, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 AM to 5:00 pm. Mondays to Fridays.



A completed set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address given below upon submission of a written letter of intent and/or its application for eligibility and latest Class -œA- documents, addressed to the BAC Chairman, not later than 9:00 AM of February 8, 2018. Hard copy of the ITB from G-EPS, Document Request List, and Bid Notice Abstract should be attached to the letter of intent (LOI). Payment of a non- refundable fee for the bidding documents is Php500.00.



Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM of February 8, 2018. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.



Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder-s representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.



The City Government of Tacloban reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
