Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the Inter­American Development Bank-s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures, will be published as they become available. For goods, works or consulting services expected to cost an amount equivalent to US $200, 000 or more, a request for expressions of interest for contracts will be advertised in the UN Development Business and Inter­American Development Bank-s website, the Caribbean Community Public Procurement Notice Board, the Barbados Nation and the Barbados Advocate News Paper.

The Government of Barbados through the Ministry of the Environment, National Beautification, Green and Blue Economy has received loan funding in the amount equivalent to US $50, 000, 000 from the Inter­American Development Bank (IDB). The Government intends to apply the proceeds to the contracting of consulting services, goods and works to be procured under the Climate Resilient and Sustainable Integrated Coastal Zone Management (CRS­ICZM) Programme. The Programme will also be jointly financed with The Government of Barbados. Bidding will be governed by the Inter­American Development Bank-s eligibility rules and procedures.
