Description : 1. The CITY GOVERNMENT OF CALBAYOG, through the budget approved by sanggunian, CY 2026, GFAB, 20% Development Projects intends to apply the sum of FIFTY MILLION PESOS (Php 50, 000, 000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for CONSTRUCTION OF BREAKWATER WITH LIGHTHOUSE (Phase II), Barangay West Awang, Calbayog City with Project Identification No. 26CY-021. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The City Government of Calbayog now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required two-hundred seventy (270) calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”.
