2027-3002 PART A & PART B (Discretionary)Project Overview:This two-part assignment comprises of a Detailed Design (DD) Technical Review and Report (Part A) and Contract Administration (CA) Services (Part B) related to the construction of the new Grand River Bridge on a new alignment, extending from 0.7 km east of Riverbend Drive to 0.1 km east of the Bridge Street Connection in the City of Kitchener, within the Regional Municipality of Waterloo.Part A: Detailed Design (DD) Technical Review and Report Part A encompasses the DD Technical Review of the design/tender package for Part B and report. Part A is guaranteed to the successful proponent and requires Key Personnel (Project Manager and Contract Administrator) and Technical Support Staff for DD package evaluation. Key Personnel and Technical Support Staff must draw upon previous experience, participate in the DD evaluations, attend meetings, review documents; tender items; schedules; drawings; specifications; reports, and provide written comments or recommendations to enhance the overall quality of the final Contract Documents in a formal report. Participation in the DD evaluation of the assignment is required before the Part B award phase of the construction contract.As a minimum, the Project Manager must have demonstrated a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
