Consultants to provide full Design and Construction Administration services for a new anaerobic digestion and biogas utilization facility. The expected energy production is approx 90 kW using an internal combustion engine generator. Consultant will be provided the final feasibility report which will include the process design criteria for the anaerobic digestion process and biogas utilization systems. project includes the design of an anaerobic digester for the purpose of co-digesting cow manure and food waste. The scope of work will include the preparation of a basis of design report and bid documents, securing permits, application for NYSERDA grant funding, and preparing the appropriate SEQR documentation for facilities outlined in the final feasibility report. The Consultant will be responsible for the final design of the food waste receiving operation, modifications to the existing cow manure handling systems, anaerobic digesters and all appurtenances, biogas cleaning systems and CHP fueling system, including support buildings and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural design, hazardous materials design, geotechnical, site improvements, utility connections, structural and process systems associated with the facilities. The Consultant will also provide surveying, construction cost estimates, value engineering, design of staging, construction phase administration and other services and studies required by the Fund Consultant Agreement and Program Directives.
