Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Conference Services.

Peace Corps will host its 2024 Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conference in Siem Reap,
Cambodia. The purpose of this CME conference is to provide Peace Corps Medical Officers
(PCMOs) and US-based Peace Corps clinical staff with an opportunity to earn Continuing Medical
Education (CME) credits required to maintain their professional medical/nursing licenses, to
remain credentialed to practice healthcare, and to gain knowledge on current policy and practice
guidelines. The conference is a three (3) day event with approximately 31 attendees requiring
overnight accommodation, for between four (4) and seven (7) nights.
Peace Corps intends to offer a firm-fixed price contract for Peace Corps Office of Health Services
(OHS) Continuing Medical Education Conference (CME) inclusive of lodging, meals (breakfast and
lunch), AM & PM tea/coffee breaks and three conference spaces on various dates from May 27-
30, 2024. Peace Corps invites vendors to submit in English quotations in USD ($) for this event.

President Kennedy formed the Peace Corps with an executive order on March 1, 1961, and
Congress authorized it on September 22, 1961, with passage of the Peace Corps Act. Since its
founding, more than 210, 000 Americans have served as Peace Corps Volunteers in 139
developing countries that request assistance. The Peace Corps mission is to promote world
peace and friendship through service to others. Peace Corps supports its Volunteers in many
ways including with trained medical staff at each post to provide medical, health, and wellness
services during service abroad.
