This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
The north american industry classification system (naics) code for this project is 115310, support activities for forestry-fuels management services, and the annual size standard is $7.5 m.
This requirement will be 100% set aside for small business entity. project description: cone collection on the sierra and sequoia national forests
the proposed project includes the following:
the intent of this contract is to secure services to collect cones from conifers-including ponderosa pine, sugar pine, western white pine incense cedar and jeffrey pine. Cones will be obtained from superior trees that will provide the forest with a diverse variety of seed crop from various elevations and stands. This contract requires the contractor to climb and collect cones on the high sierra, bass lake, hume lake, great western divide and kern river ranger districts of the sierra national forest and sequoia national forest in california.
The completion time for this contract is approximately 30 calendar days from issuance of the ntp.
Basis for award. The source selection method used by the government will be the best value method lowest priced technically acceptable (lpta).
