INVITATION TO BID FOR THE CONCRETING OF ROAD AT RECODO PUROK 5-A, ZAMBOANGA CITY



1. The BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF RECODO, through the Barangay Annual Budget for FY 2017 intends to apply the sum of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (Php. 300, 000.00 ) ONLY being the Approved Budget for Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Concreting of Road at Recodo Purok 5-A Zamboanga City with Project Reference No. CW 17-04 Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at bid opening.



2. The BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF RECODO now invites bids for the Concreting of Road at Recodo Purok 5-A with Length of 60.00 Ln. M.; Sub-Grade Preparation Q= 216.00 Sq. M., Aggregate Sub-Base Course Q= 38.88 Cu. M., Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Q= 216.00 Cu. M . Completion of Works is required within Seven (7 ) Calendar Days. Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar in the project with a value of at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC and to meet the other minimum eligibility requirements stated in the eligibility documents.



3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-



Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizenship/sole proprietorship, partnership, or organizations with at least seventy

five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines



4. Interested Eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF RECODO and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. starting March 31, 2017 to April 19, 2017 .



5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be secured by interested Bidder from the address below.



6. The Barangay Government of RECODO will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on APRIL 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M at Barangay Hall of RECODO, Zamboanga City which shall be open to all interested parties who have secured the Bidding Documents.



7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before April 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Sangali All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Cash, Cashier-s/Manager-s Check Bank Draft/Guarantee confirmed by a Universal/Commercial Bank, Irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by Universal/commercial Bank or from other bank certified by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as authorized to issued such financial instrument provided however that if shall be confirmed of authenticarted by a Universal Commercial Bank if issued by a foreign bank in an amount of Php. 6, 000.00 or Surety Bond callable upon demand issued by a Surety or Insurance Company duly certified by Insurance commission as authorized to issue such security in the amount of Php. 15, 000.00 or any combination of the foregoing in the amount proportionate to share of form with respect to total amount of security. The Bid security shall be denominated in Philippines Pesos and posted in favor of the Procuring Entity.



Bid will be open in the presence of the bidder-s representative who chooses to attend at the address below. Late

bids shall not be accepted



Equipment to be used: Road Roller, Road Grader, Bagger Mixer, Concrete Vibrator and Water Truck



Key Personnel: Project Manager, Project Engineer, Material Testing Engineer and Foreman



8. Bid Opening shall be on April 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Barangay Hall of RECODO, Zamboanga City.



9. The BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF RECODO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the

bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to affected

bidder or bidders.
