GOC6811475 - Concrete Ramp and Handrail Accessibility UpgradesThis project involves the upgrade and modification of the existing exterior concrete ramp, stair elements, and associated handrails, including handrails at West exterior stairs and East and West interior stairwells, to ensure compliance with CSA B651, BCBC, and NBC. The intent is to enhance safe, equitable, barrier-free access for all building users, including persons with mobility, visual, and physical impairments. The scope is based on the 2024 PSPC Accessibility Assessment and associated study documentation and shall be referenced to ensure all identified deficiencies are fully addressed and compliance is achieved.Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:• Concrete Ramp Upgrades - inspect, repair, and modify the existing concrete ramp, including crack sealing, patching, and regrading. Where required, reconstruct or reconfigure portions of the ramp to achieve compliant slope, width, landing dimensions, and overall geometry, ensuring a continuous, stable, slip-resistant, and fully accessible route.• Handrail modifications - remove and replace existing handrails and install continuous, compliant handrails on both sides of the ramp, exterior stairs, and interior stairwells.
