GENERAL
1.1 Background
The Coast Guard is seeking to procure an SSD controller retrofit service plus Ballbar calibration for the 2013 M2B, CWJ, with a 30SA pump. Upgraded service and parts are needed to operate current Integrated Water-Jet system located at Industrial Production Facility (IPF) Alameda. IPF Alameda-s current system is degraded, and software is no-longer supported. The current Integrated Water-Jet, model number M2-3120B W/30SA, serial number 120292 will require an upgraded WIN10 embedded computer panel assembly with Flow master STD, PMAC software with a BAS ESL 60 KSI intensifier assembly. Due to excessive cost to replace the waterjet system, refurbishment is required. Waterjet provides precision cutting required by IPF Alameda.
1.2 Scope
The vendor shall provide a hopper retrofit for the computer and upload new software to include the installation of an abrasive transfer system within the current waterjet system. Vendor is responsible for supplying suitable hardware and software capable of returning the current waterjet system back online. Vendor shall ensure that the waterjet is fully operational and test the system before being complete.
