Tender Details

The compression garments and accessories are benefits covered by the Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living (SAIL) Compression Garment Program for clients with serious conditions that cannot be managed by other means, such as elevation or medication, and would become more severe without compression. Examples of such conditions include hypertrophic scarring, chronic lymphedema, paraplegia, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or a history of ulceration. These clients require compression pressures of 20 mmHg or higher. The Compression Garment Program is provided to eligible Saskatchewan Residents by the Ministry of Health, Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and serves approximately 1, 500 residents annually. The garments are often customized for the specific needs of each client.
