The creek is characterized by erosion, sediment build -up and reduced water flow capacity, providing challenges Both for agricultural land and ecology in the watercourse. In 2024, the Norwegian Agricultural Advisory Council (NLR) prepared a plan with proposals for watercourse measures, with an emphasis on agricultural considerations (Appendix 1). The local cultivation group prepared an overview of important areas for the sea trout in 2018 (Appendix 2). In the same year, DHI implemented hydraulic model calculations for the pelvis situation and various scenarios (Appendix 3 and 4).
