Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation Number: W50S87-20-Q-5011 is issued as a Request for Quotation.

The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-04.

This acquisition is issued as a small business set-aside. The NAICS code specified for this requirement is 333994, with size standard of 500 employees.

Contract Line Item Numbers:

0001 Composite curing oven with installation, testing, commissioning, and training Description of requirement: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, delivery, and labor necessary to install, test, and commission a walk in, natural gas powered, composite curing oven. Training of Government personnel is also to be included. Installation of oven will happen indoors on level concrete inside a C-17 aircraft hangar. Contractor will be responsible to connect oven to existing exhaust ductwork, compressed air, gas line, and electric. These connections will be present at/near oven location. Please include all costs (to include freight) in 1 line item. Minimum requirements: Please see attachment "Composite Curing Oven Requirements" Delivery address is 4930 Minuteman Way, Charlotte, NC 28208. FOB Destination. Deliver/install within 180 calendar days of contract award.

Evaluation As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote, conforming to this request for quote, will be most advantageous to the Government, con...
