A The photoelectron energy analyzer shall be an electrostatic hemispherical energy analyzer with an orbital radius of 150 mm or less.
B The collection angle of the photoelectron energy analyzer shall be 60° or greater under ultra-high vacuum conditions and 40°or greater under Near Ambient pressure conditions.
C The photoelectron energy analyzer shall be equipped with a CMOS detector.
D The photoelectron energy analyzer shall be capable of analysis under conditions ranging from ultra-high vacuum to near ambient pressure environments of 50 mbar or greater.
E The photoelectron energy analyzer must have a measurable energy range of 5 eV to 7 keV or greater.
F The X-ray source must contain two X-ray sources, Al Kα and Ag Lα, within the same housing.
G The source's Rowland diameter must be 450 mm or greater for Al and 416 mm or greater for Ag.
H The X-ray source shall have a SiN window to enable operation under near ambient pressure conditions.
