INTRODUCTION
The US Army Contracting Command, Rock Island is seeking sources for Compliance Analysis Services - see Attachment 0001 Performance Work Statement and Attachment 0002 Deliverables Schedule Checklist.
This Sources Sought Synopsis is being issued as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the requirement. The intention is to procure this service on a competitive basis.
BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
SCOPE
The Contractor shall perform certified analysis on Government provided field samples for a comprehensive list of contaminants services. Services include certified laboratory analysis reports used to confirm safety and demonstrate regulatory compliance.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This supports requirements set forth by regulatory requirements to ensure safe and sanitary conditions for the drinking water system and the soil in the vicinity of ongoing operations. Various routine testing for Tooele Army Depot, to provide results to be compared to Maximum Contaminant levels (MCL-s) set by the State of Utah to meet prescribed, certain requirements. The test lab must be able to test for: Bacteriologic, Inorganics and Metal, Lead and Copper, Nitrate and Nitrite, Pesticides, Sulfates, Trihalomethane, Halo
