As part of the relaunch of EDF Hydro's investments to contribute to the energy transition (flexibility, system service), the Montézic 2 project consists of building a new Power Pumping Energy Transfer Station (STEP). of approximately 500 MW (two groups 2 x 242 MW). The plant will be built in a new underground cavern while using the existing upstream and downstream reservoirs of the current 900 MW Montézic plant. Montézic is located in Occitanie in the department of Aveyron (12). The Groups market subject of the Competitive Dialogue is part of this overall project to build this new factory. The consultation will be carried out under the Competitive Dialogue procedure. This procedure allows you to interact with candidates pre-selected to co-construct or refine technical solutions aimed at a result. Its main interest is to deal with complex or innovative needs which cannot be defined beforehand, while respecting the principles of equality of processing, transparency and free access to the market.
