BackgroundJordan hosts one of the largest refugee populations in the world relative to its size, including a substantial Syrian refugee population as well as refugees from other countries. Refugees face disproportionately high rates of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), often compounded by limited access to mental health services, social isolation, and economic precarity. Despite the scale of need, rigorous evidence on which detection and treatment modalities work best in this context remains limited.
