Community living for the elderly, North Karelia welfare area The object of the procurement is communal housing services for the elderly in the welfare area of North Karelia. Communal housing means 21 of the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014). social service according to § b, where the service provider arranges for the social care client an apartment that meets his needs in a barrier-free and safe housing unit and the opportunity to participate in what is offered there, social interaction promoting activities. Communal housing is arranged for a person who needs it on the basis that his functional capacity has decreased and his need for treatment and care has increased due to old age, illness, disability or another similar reason. The service is mainly intended for elderly people, but the customers' service needs may vary, and the service is not limited to customers defined by age alone. The supplier is required that the customers have, if necessary possibility to purchase meal service, clothing maintenance service and cleaning service as support services. The offeror must submit an offer separately for each housing unit he/she offers in such a way that: 1) each offered housing unit is given its own offer in the system 2) the offer includes all information about the unit in question (e.g. unit name, location, capacity, prices and other required information) 3) combining several units in the same offer is not...
