Abstract: The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to procure a contract for Community Development Resource Centre.The provision of both a community development line manager/worker and a number of health connectors who can work directly with the Cluster is envisaged to ensure successful deliveries of the following;- understanding of community strengths (asset mapping)- increased range of sustainable community owned opportunities as a consequence of understanding gaps-development of a range of new and extended roles - adding skills, competencies and experience to the multi disciplinary teams at cluster level- professional staff working across cluster to increase efficiency and ensure the local population has good access to clinical, social and managerial expertise
