Tender Details

The purpose of this consultation is to award works contracts relating to the reinforcement and restoration operation of the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption cathedral in Montauban. Classified as Historical Monuments and State Property (assigned to the Ministry of Culture), the cathedral presented, from 2020, interior and exterior cracks affecting the first bay of the nave, then the following bays up to the transept. In view of the risks to public safety, the cathedral was closed by prefectural decree dated November 25, 2020. The planned work aims to repair the disorders resulting from the movement of the western massif. Cracks, located on different elements of the elevations (tables surmounting the large arcades, high windows, aisle vaults, side facades, etc.), reflect a separation between the facade mass and the rest of the building. Note that archaeological monitoring will be put in place for the duration of the construction site. These services are processed in separate batches.
